Project “Vacation Apartment Makeover in South Tenerife”
The goal of the project “Vacation Apartment Makeover in South Tenerife” was to refresh the overall appearance of an existing rental apartment. Another aim was to create a more visually cohesive and cozy atmosphere before the photo session.
The apartment needed to be prepared not only for photography, but also for welcoming guests. It also had to present well across different accommodation booking platforms.
The updates focused mainly on textiles, decorative elements, lighting, and smaller interior styling details. The existing layout and most of the furniture were preserved.
The apartment included an open-plan living room with kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom, entrance area, and terrace. The overall design approach focused on creating a calm, warm, and visually harmonious environment for guests.
Initial Situation
Before making any interior styling changes, the overall condition of the apartment was evaluated. Details that required attention or refreshing were also identified.
In addition to visual aspects, the apartment had several minor flaws and finishing issues. These details affected the overall impression and cohesion of the spaces.
Although the apartment layout and main furniture pieces were functional, the rooms lacked a unified atmosphere. Some of the existing décor, lighting, and decorative elements also did not support the desired cozy and contemporary look.
During the initial assessment, a list of necessary repairs, updates, and styling improvements was created. The goal was to make the apartment feel more visually complete, inviting, and functional as a whole.
Objective
The objective was to create a more visually cohesive and welcoming environment while preserving the existing layout. The apartment also needed to work better both for guest accommodation and for a professional photo shoots
Conceptual Solution
The updates focused mainly on textiles, decorative details, color balance, and smaller elements that visually connected the spaces. The aim was to create a calmer and more welcoming atmosphere.
The lighting was improved by adjusting the tone of the existing light sources. Some bulbs were replaced with warmer light spectrum alternatives.
Additional recommendations were also provided for extra lighting points and selected decor elements. These additions helped make the apartment feel more complete and functional.
Result
With relatively small changes, the overall impression of the apartment became significantly more cohesive and cozy.
As a final result of the project, the updated interior styling was completed and a professional photo shoot was carried out.
